Gotta love the Squat sequence on the Crossfit WOD - seems like just a few reps, but do a proper warmup, then the reps with max weight followed by cool down and stretch.
I usually spend some time on Sunday evening with the family reviewing goals and plans for the week. Its a great way to get the mind focused and hot Monday morning running!
One of the best ways of doing this is to work with a TO-DO list. Either you swear by one or you hate them, but they can undeniably be a major asset.
There is a little book by Brian Tracy that I absolutely LOVE. It helps people master time management and efficiency with very simple techniques. Pick up this Wisdom of the Warrior recommended read at this link: Eat That Frog.
One of the people that has mastered time management and to-do lists is my friend and University of Colorado Basketball Coach, Jeff Bzdelik. Jeff formerly coached with the Denver Nuggets and US Air Force Academy. He is pictured with me on a fun day for both of us a couple of summers ago!
