Friday February 22, 2008 - Mentors

I have been the fortunate benefactor of many great mentors in my life. Mentorship is not something that happens by itself, so I challenege you to do two things. Ask people that you admire for their advice - most of them appreciate it. Also, take the opportunity to share wisdom when you can.
One of my mentors in the world of fitness has been Clark Bartram (pictured). I met Clark years ago through a publication called Muscle Media. I admire his dedication not only to fitness, but to his family and Faith.

Here is today's CROSSFIT workout - I will be doing it on a Delta trip in Pittsburgh, PA!

Post reps for both exercises in all rounds.

Round 1
30 pullups, 27 dead lifts, 24 box jumps, 21 decline ball pushups, 19 wall balls, 15 knees to elbows, 12 aim high pushups, 9 burpees, 6 push press, 3 kettle bell swings

Round 2
3 pullups, 6 dead lifts, 9 box jumps, 12 decline ball pushups, 15 wall balls, 19 knees to elbows, 21 aim high pushups, 24 burpees, 27 push press, 30 kettle bell swings

Round 3 - repeat round 1
Round 4 - repeat round 2

This one takes a while so I had to skip P90X legs and back with Toni (still hasnt' earned his 'y')

3 mile interval run
1 mile warm-up
1/4 mile 'sprint'
1/4 mile jog
repeat 4x
stretch and go say hi to the guys at Green Beans ;)
