Saturday August 1, 2009 - Committing to Crossfit long-term





One of the keys to Crossfit is a FINAL decision to NEVER miss a WOD (workout of the day.) The literal translation is to be FLEXIBLE! I have been on the road this week and didn't have the facilities of a Crossfit gym available. I was traveling all day and had to take an unscheduled "REST" day. I did a double WOD the next day and skipped the next REST day.
Today's WOD called for 7 x 1 rep Max back squats. No gym available to me so Tabata Sprints and Tabata squats instead. Be Flexible. Be Creative. BUT - BE CONSISTENT!! Find solutions and compromises instead of excuses. Persevere!
