Istanbul is a very interesting place in history. Bridges literally connect Europe to Asia and there is evidence of all sorts of history. Current politics are controversial as a primarily Muslim congress attempts to instill religious values in a country that has traditionally separated church and state.
Pictured is one of the prominent bridges which is brightly lit and changes color during the evening prayer time. Also some evidence of vibrant night life and fun live Turkish music.
