H.I.I.T. - Stands for HIGH INTENSITY INTERVAL TRAINING! Most of what we do in Crossfit is HIIT - but I want you to read more about it at this link: H.I.I.T

The bottom line is that low intensity cardio is not effective at reducing BODY FAT!
