Aviation can prove to be a challenging industry. One of my closest buddies, Mike "Paddler" Kane, lost his job earlier this week when Aloha Airlines went out of business. Paddler is one of my heroes. We both have a mentor in common, Mark "Buggy" Sandvold and we relate to each other well.
About a year ago, Paddler completed the single man canoe race from Honolulu to Molokai. In his trying moments of that race he recited quotes from the book: "Unleash the Warrior Within," which is a Wisdom of the Warrior recommended read - found at this link. Paddler lives life and pursues sports with an uncommon PASSION!
Paddler and I had a long phone conversation today about his options and I rest assured that his Warrior Spirit will lead him to bigger and brighter opportunities. He is pictured in the white ball cap.
Stephanie and I are off to San Diego today for one of Clark Bartram's Fitness Events and to catch up with my brother Randy and T-Roy!
