Start President's day with Crossfit. Today's WOD perplexes quite a few folks so I want to provide a link to a great explanation of the the Seven Ones are all about:

Yes, that really is the WOD. It's a Max Effort strength WOD rather than a Metabolic Conditioning WOD. It won't leave you as "gassed" as Helen or Cindy will, but it will tax your muscles and nervous system heavily. See this thread on the message board for more discussion of the protocol, and this WOD demo for a visual.
- On a lighter note - Musical note that is - I want to recognize one of my personal favorite musicians and friends, Steve Cormey. After we got the kids to bed on Saturday night, I got a chance to catch up with Cormey at the Lariat Saloon in Grand Lake (I am pictured with Cormey, my buddy Topher, and Topher's girlfriend). Cormey has played at our wedding, private concerts on our deck (pictured) and at the Lariat every weekend. Steve always gives a great deal of support to the Redeyes while were deployed or serving at home in Colorado.
