Tabata is a work/rest cycle of 20 seconds on and 10 seconds off. This simple interval will humble the boldest of warriors.
One of the things I like about Tabata - is that you can do it ANYWHERE! Hotel room, office, airline cockpit!
Tabata reminds me of a Wisdom of the Warrior principle related to the Serenity Prayer:
God grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change;
courage to change the things I can;
and wisdom to know the difference.
The simplicity of Tabata reminds us that we can always get a workout regardless of our environment. It also reminds us to take advantage of the things that are available to us in our environments and not to try and change the things we can't control.
