My main reason I love the Air National Guard isn't the F16's, its the people!
Mike Stiffler Gommel came to the Redeyes last summer via training in my old San Antonio Guard unit. My buddies from Texas told me how cool Stiffler was, but it wasn't until this deployment that many of us got to know him well. Sheriff may have said it best the other day when he said that Stiffler makes a living out of being underestimated. He smokes us in the gym and keeps everyone laughing. One of the more sincere guys I know, he is also an excellent performer in the jet. It was a treat to enjoy 4 hours of aerial combat this evening and a great deployment with Captain Mike Gommel.

You've got it- Stiffler will prove to be one of the funniest guys you will ever know, one of the best looking, and not to mention, one of the smartest... that's because he takes completely after his Mother! But, man, those are still some WHITE legs! Glad you are all coming home! See all of you in Denver soon! Party's at our house!~
