I received a package of letters from Jonah's class today and had to share some of the excerpts from a few of the letters
- "I think its an honor for you to be serving our Country."
- "It must be stressing trying to fly while you are being shot at."
- "I heard it is not as dangerous in a plane as it is on the ground."
- "Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to fight in a war."
- "Jonah said that you fly in a jet that goes really fast and like drops bombs and stuff."
- "I hope you don't get hurt"
- "This is weird to say from a girl, but is it like Iron Man?"
- "You go and fight for our country. We all believe in you. You can do it."
- "You are just like my Grandpa. If you die for victory, let God be with you."
- "P.S. Drop it like its hot (bombs)"
- "Don't forget to put in fuel."
- "I am glad that you are taking the chance to fight for our country."
- "I want to learn more about war and how it works."
- "I know that we are safe because you guys are fighting for us."
- "My big brother is also in Iraq. It is so cool that you guys are willing to fight for all of us."
I particularly like the "Don't forget the fuel" one! Pictured some Redeye pool fun - after a hard day's work!
