Jeff Sutter is one of those kids that has had a significant impact on my life without knowing it. I coached Jeff as a youngster and then got to play and coach with Jeff in the Eaton, Colorado athletic program. Jeff was three years younger than me, but I admired his bright smile, positive attitude, and compassion for people. I sincerely enjoyed running the Eaton youth T-Ball program with him. It is no surprise he became a teacher.
Earlier this year Jeff was diagnosed with Lymphoma. His family put together an awesome video which you can view in the link below. Jeff embodies many of the Wisdom of the Warrior principles I espouse: a competitive spirit, a passion for health, and a loving compassion for people. I ask that you include Jeff and his family in your prayers.
At Balad Air Base Iraq today we are dedicating our performance of MURPH (run 1 mile, 100 pullups, 200 pushups, 300 squats, run 1 mile) in the 117 degree heat to Jeff. We hope that our strength in tough conditions inspires his continued strength in infinitely tougher conditions. Love you Jeff.
